Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that motor vehicles equipped with dump bodies shall, before operating on any public or private highway, alley, or parking area, be equipped with visual and audible warning signals in the cab of the vehicle which are activated when the dump body is unlatched, unsecured, or is in an upright or elevated position. The visual device must be located within the driver's view and the audible warning must be distinct from other audible warnings in the cab.
Amends the Illinois Income Tax Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.
Amends the Elevator Safety and Regulation Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning meetings of the Elevator Safety Review Board.
Amends the Property Tax Code. In a Section concerning refunds for erroneous assessments or overpayments, provides as follows: If the right to a refund arose on or after January 1, 1990, a claim for refund shall not be allowed unless a petition is filed with the circuit court or a claim is made to the county collector within 20 years after the date the right to a refund arose. Provides that each county collector must maintain payment image records for a minimum of 20 years after the date of payment.
Amends the Illinois Horse Racing Act of 1975. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.
Amends the Embalming Fluid Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.
Amends the Real Estate License Act of 2000. Changes the definition of "broker" to include an individual, partnership, limited liability company, corporation, or registered limited liability partnership other than a real estate salesperson or leasing agent who prepares or provides a broker price opinion or comparative market analysis or similar estimate of the value of real estate. Defines "broker price opinion" and "comparative market analysis". Provides that the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation may refuse to issue or renew a license, may place on probation, suspend, or revoke any license, reprimand, or take any other disciplinary or non-disciplinary action as the Department may deem proper and impose a fine not to exceed $25,000 upon any licensee or applicant under the Act or any person who holds himself or herself out as an applicant or licensee or against a licensee in handling his or her own property, whether held by deed, option, or otherwise, for providing a broker price opinion or comparative market analysis in a manner that is not consistent with the provisions of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice that apply to broker price opinions and comparative market analyses, as adopted by the Appraisal Standards Board and by rule. Effective immediately.
Amends the General Assembly, State Employee, State Universities, Downstate Teacher, and Judges Articles of the Illinois Pension Code. For Tier 1 employees and their survivors, and for Tier 2 participants in the General Assembly and Judges Retirement Systems and their survivors, imposes a reduction in automatic annual increases in retirement, survivor, and disability annuities. Effective immediately.
Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code. Makes a technical change in a Section regarding Medicaid co-payments.
