Amends the Right to Privacy in the Workplace Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning prohibited inquiries.
Amends the Illinois Architecture Practice Act of 1989. Creates the Design Professionals Dedicated Fund. Provides that the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation shall deposit moneys derived from the fees and fines collected under the Act into the Design Professionals Dedicated Fund, which shall be used to provide qualified applicants for licensure with financial assistance in connection with the required examination fees under the Act. Establishes the criteria for eligibility that an applicant must meet in order to receive such financial assistance.
Makes application to Congress for the calling of a convention for proposing amendments to the United States Constitution.
Amends the Criminal Identification Act. Provides that the arrest records of a gang member who is under 21 years of age and who has been found guilty of or continued under supervision for a gang-related offense and who has not previously been found guilty of or continued under supervision for a gang-related offense are eligible for sealing upon compliance with certain stated conditions. Amends the Juvenile Court Act of 1987 and the Unified Code of Corrections. Provides that in addition to any term of incarceration that may be imposed by the court and unless the court determines that it has good cause not to impose these requirements, a gang member who is under 21 years of age and who has been found guilty of or continued under supervision for a gang-related offense and who has not previously been found guilty of or continued under supervision for a gang-related offense shall, upon completion of any term of incarceration, be required to fulfill certain stated conditions.
Amends the State Finance Act. Creates the Lupus Foundation of America Fund. Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that the Secretary of State may issue Lupus Foundation of America plates. Provides that the cost of initial issuance of these plates shall be $20 in addition to any other fees, $5 of which will go to the Lupus Foundation of America Fund and $15 of which will go to the Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund. Provides that renewal of these plates will cost $20, $18 of which will go to the Lupus Foundation of America Fund and $2 of which will go to the Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund. Allows for distribution, subject to appropriation, of money from the Lupus Foundation of America Fund to the Lupus Foundation of America, Illinois Chapter.
Amends the Children and Family Services Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.
Amends the Educator Licensure Article of the School Code. Provides that after January 1, 2014, the State Board of Education shall ensure that the curriculum for all approved educator preparation programs includes and that all prospective teachers pursuing Professional Educator Licenses receive instruction on the linguistic, cultural, evaluative, and instructional methods related to the education of English Language Learners. Requires this instruction to be provided in 2 required courses within the educator preparation program, which shall consist of (i) one course on second language acquisition and instruction and (ii) one course on the socio-cultural and family and community aspects relevant to the education of English Language Learners. Effective immediately.
Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.
Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the 60-month limitation on the receipt of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families benefits.
