PROPANE-COUNCIL MEMBERSHIP

Amends the Illinois Propane Education and Research Act of 1997. Changes the membership of the Illinois Propane Education and Research Council so that 6 (rather than 5) members shall represent retail marketers and 4 (rather than 5) members shall represent producers. Provides that Council members shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses directly related to their participation in Council meetings. Deletes language providing how many consecutive terms a Council member may serve.

DPT AGING-SR SRVCS-BEQUESTS

Amends the Community Senior Services and Resources Act. Authorizes the Director of Aging to accept monetary bequests and gifts for deposit into the Community Senior Services and Resources Fund. Directs the Department on Aging, in conjunction with the Community Senior Services and Resource Center Advisory Committee, to design an awareness campaign that can be implemented by senior services and resource centers at their individual expense. Effective immediately.

CD CORR-FINES-COLLECTION

Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Provides that the clerk of the court may retain attorneys and private collection agencies for the purpose of collecting any default in payment of any fine or installment of that fine. Provides that the fees and costs incurred by the clerk of the court in any such collection and the fees and charges of attorneys and private collection agents retained by the clerk for those purposes shall be charged to the offender.

HWY CD-CONSTRUCT CONTRACTS

Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Repeals a provision providing that the highway commissioner in each road district may contract for the construction or repair of roads and bridges lying wholly within the limits of the commissioner's district and that, if the cost of the contract or expenditure is more than $5,000, the highway commissioner may not make any payment without the approval of the county superintendent of highways or the highway board of auditors. Deletes language in another provision providing that, when a road or bridge that is on the line between 2 road districts is to be repaired or constructed at a cost of more than $1,000, a contract may not be let, and no payment may be made, without the approval of the county superintendent or the county board of auditors. Effective immediately.

BINGO ACT-RAISE PRIZE LIMITS

Amends the Bingo License and Tax Act. In certain counties, authorizes one additional daily bingo game with a prize limit of $350 cash or its equivalent. Effective immediately.
