This bill directly affects homeowners in participating areas who rely on the pilot program to receive financial assistance for replacing outdated cesspools. The key provision is simply extending the program's operational timeline, allowing more time for eligible homeowners to access grant funding. The bill does not change eligibility requirements or introduce new funding, only postpones the project's expiration date. It is currently under review by the Health and Human Services committee.
