RELATING TO HEALTH.

Requires all limited service pregnancy centers to accurately disclose availability and enrollment information for reproductive health services. Establishes privacy and disclosure requirements for individual records and information. Authorizes civil penalties and civil actions for enforcement and remedy. (HB663 HD1)

RELATING TO TAXATION.

Allows hosting platforms registered with the Department of Taxation to act as tax collectors on behalf of the short-term rental lodging operators. Applies the general excise tax to short-term rental lodging. Requires hosting platforms to report detailed operator information with filing of tax returns. Requires operators to keep records for at least three years. (HB1470 HD1)

RELATING TO SECURITY GUARDS.

Requires guards to meet mandatory instruction and training requirements within 60 days after hiring. Provides for first registration renewal no sooner than two years from initial registration. Requires employers to submit a monthly list of newly hired guards to the Board of Private Detectives and Guards. (HB1515 HD1)

RELATING TO ENERGY MODERNIZATION AT THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION.

Requires PUC to: (1) Study and determine a reasonable microgrid rate schedule, based on specified goals, that DOE may charge to users of its microgrid; (2) Study and determine a fair and reasonable amount that an electric utility company may assess DOE for using the electrical infrastructure of the electric utility company or any electricity produced by the electric utility company, if applicable; and (3) Establish oversight policies for any microgrid projects that DOE may establish that extend beyond lands and buildings owned and controlled by DOE. RELATING TO COFFEE LABELING.

Requires coffee blend labels to disclose regional origins and per cent by weight of the blended coffees. Prohibits using geographic origins of coffee in labeling or advertising for roasted or instant coffee that contains less than 51 per cent coffee by weight from that geographic origin.

RELATING TO IN VITRO FERTILIZATION INSURANCE COVERAGE.

Removes discriminatory requirements for mandatory insurance coverage of in vitro fertilization procedures to create parity of coverage for same-sex couples, unmarried women, and male-female couples for whom male infertility is the relevant factor.

RELATING TO CHILD CARE FACILITIES.

Requires the Department of Human Services to post on its website, reports of child care facility inspections and corrective actions taken by the facility. Requires annual reporting to the Legislature on records and actions involving violation complaints. Appropriates funds. (HB673 HD1)

RELATING TO CANCER PATIENTS.

Requires insurance coverage for embryo, oocyte, and sperm cryopreservation procedures to preserve the fertility of adults diagnosed with cancer who have not yet started cancer treatment.
