RELATING TO SCHOOL-BASED HEALTH SERVICES.

Formally establishes the Hawaii Keiki: Healthy and Ready to Learn Program within the Department of Education. Establishes a dedicated special fund and positions within the Departments of Education, Health, and Human Services to support the program. Makes appropriations. Effective 7/1/2090. (SD2)

RELATING TO FOOD SAFETY.

Appropriates funds to DBEDT in each of fiscal years 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 to provide guidance and support regarding the FDA's industry guidance on the use of color additives, as applied to sea salt products cultivated or produced in Hawaii. Effective 7/1/2038. (SD1)

RELATING TO CEMETERIES.

Limits liability for persons maintaining or repairing cemetery grounds. Requires the director of commerce and consumer affairs, in consultation with the comptroller, to develop strategies for repair and maintenance of Sunset Memorial Park in Pearl City, Oahu. RELATING TO HAWAII STATE IDENTIFICATION CARDS.

Allows any satellite city hall in any county with a population of more than seven hundred thousand persons to issue Hawaii state identification cards. Requires a report to the legislature. Takes effect on 1/7/2059. (SD1)

RELATING TO RESISTING ARREST.

Creates the offense of resisting arrest in the first degree as a class C felony. Amends the existing resisting arrest misdemeanor offense to resisting arrest in the second degree. Takes effect on 1/7/2059. (SD1)
