RELATING TO PRESCRIPTION DRUGS.

Authorizes pharmacies to accept the return of any prescription drug for disposal via collection receptacles or mail-back programs; prohibits pharmacies from redispensing returned prescription drugs or accepting returned prescription drugs in exchange for cash or credit; requires the pharmacist-in-charge to ensure that only authorized reverse distributors acquire prescription drugs collected via collection receptacles or mail-back programs. RELATING TO ENERGY TRAINING.

Requires UH community colleges to establish energy systems and technology training courses for county officers and employees responsible for permitting, inspecting, licensing, and approving construction projects and an advisory committee of industry stakeholders and to submit a report to the Legislature. RELATING TO THE HAWAII TOURISM AUTHORITY.

Authorizes contracts entered by the Hawaii Tourism Authority for the marketing of all uses of the Hawaii Convention Center to be issued separately from the management, use, operation, or maintenance of the facility.
