RELATING TO CONDOMINIUMS.

Creates the Condominium Dispute Resolution Commission to address disputes between a condominium owner and condominium association. Establishes a Commission Ombudsman. Allows the Commission to assess fees to pay for the Commission Ombudsman.

RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLE INSURANCE.

Allows insurance commissioner discretion in requiring motor vehicle insurers to have claims, adjustment, and sales service at an office in the State, to facilitate access to such services by electronic technology.

RELATING TO CHILD CARE.

Provides that any person violating the child care provisions of Chapter 346, Hawaii Revised Statutes, shall be guilty of a class C felony. Increases the fines related to the violations. (HB1287 HD1)

RELATING TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

Specifies that citizen complaints against a police officer that involve allegations of domestic abuse by the police officer against a family or household member shall not be required to be in writing or sworn to by the complainant. (HB681 HD1)
