RELATING TO CHARTER SCHOOLS.

Requires members of the charter school commission to collectively possess strong experience and expertise in various fields. Allows the authorizer's staff to provide technical support up until the completed charter application is submitted. Clarifies charter application notice requirements. RELATING TO ENERGY EFFICIENCY.

Allows for the installation of certain energy-efficient technologies on any privately owned single-family residential dwelling or townhouse, with limited restrictions. Requires private entities to review, and if necessary, change rules to allow for the placement of those technologies. Effective 7/1/2050. (HD2)

RELATING TO TRESPASS.

Clarifies that when trespass involves public land, all law enforcement officers shall enforce trespass laws, without regard to whether the land is owned by the State or by a county.

RELATING TO SPECIAL LICENSE PLATES.

RELATING TO THE STATEWIDE TRAFFIC CODE.

Prohibits drivers from operating vehicles with more than four wheels and high-passenger cars in the left lane, or close to the left-hand curb or left-hand edge, of a state or county roadway. Exempts drivers operating public transportation vehicles in a zipper lane or diamond lane.

RELATING TO CAMPAIGN ADVERTISEMENTS.

Requires, in the case of any multiple-page advertisement, for the required disclosures to be made on the first page of the advertisement or on the cover page of the publication if the advertisement is used as the lead article and displayed on the cover page of a state- or county-wide distributed publication. RELATING TO SEX TRAFFICKING.

Authorizes a prosecution for sex trafficking to be commenced at any time. Includes coercion as a means of committing the offense of sex trafficking. Makes the solicitation of a minor for sex a strict liability offense of sex trafficking. Repeals the offense of solicitation of a minor for prostitution.

RELATING TO HEALTH.

Clarifies the group of professionals who are prohibited from knowingly referring or transferring patients to an uncertified or unlicensed care facility. Repeals the landlord exclusion. Requires the department of health to prioritize complaint allegations based on severity for inspections of state-licensed or state-certified care facilities. Effective 7/1/2060. (HD2)
