Beginning July 1, 2023, requires substitute teachers who work ninety days or more to be compensated equivalent to the daily rate for an entry-level teacher salary commensurate with their placement in Class I, II, or III.
Allows the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation to develop certain housing projects that are exempt from laws, rules, and ordinances, including income restrictions, under certain circumstances.
Appropriates funds for a three-year continuation of the wind-generated storm damage reef-insurance policy purchased by The Nature Conservancy in November 2022.
