Maddy summarySB 755 designates each county as the official authority responsible for managing "special management areas" within its own boundaries. This bill directly affects counties by assigning them administrative control over these designated zones, which typically involve land or resource management. It makes minor legal updates to align existing county authority with this new designation, without creating new policies or altering public rights. The bill is procedural, focusing on clarifying administrative responsibility rather than changing substantive rules. As it's still pending, no voting records or implementation details exist yet.
