RELATING TO ELECTIONS.

Specifies that the practice of election fraud intimidation includes carrying any firearm or weapon and photographing the face of any voter without permission from both the voter and an appropriate election official when those actions occur at or near a voter service center, place of deposit, or polling place.

RELATING TO LABOR STANDARDS AT HEALTH CARE FACILITIES.

Establishes within the Department of Health, the Health Care Facilities Labor Standards Working Group to research, assess, and make recommendations on the best practices in labor standards that can be implemented at hospitals, care homes, and dialysis facilities in the State, including the establishment and enforcement of minimum staffing standards, hospital staffing committees, and mandatory meal breaks, rest breaks, and overtime standards. Requires a report to the Legislature. Takes effect 12/31/2050. (SD1)

RELATING TO TRANSPORTATION.

Authorizes the director of finance to develop means to identify additional data about vehicle registration. Requires data collected to be included in the registration database. (SD1)

RELATING TO BOTTLE FILLING STATIONS.

Requires all state buildings being constructed on or after 7/1/2025 where a water fountain is required to have a water bottle filling station. Takes effect 7/1/2112. (SD1)

RELATING TO LIVESTOCK.

Requires the University of Hawaiʻi College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources, in consultation with livestock industry stakeholders, to conduct a study to assess the effects of heat stress on beef cattle during interisland ocean transportation. Requires a report to the Legislature. Declares that the general fund expenditure ceiling is exceeded. Makes an appropriation. Takes effect 7/1/2055. (SD1)

RELATING TO RENEWABLE FUEL.

Establishes a tax credit for the import of renewable fuel, including sustainable aviation fuel. Expands the provisions of the renewable fuels production tax credit. (SD1)

RELATING TO RENEWABLE ENERGY.

Authorizes independent generators of renewable energy to wheel the renewable energy transmitted and used to produce hydrogen, subject to certain conditions determined by the Public Utilities Commission. Takes effect 1/1/2060. (SD1)
