RELATING TO HEALTH.

Authorizes a pharmacy to provide a customized patient medication package to any patient of an institutional facility or any member of the general public upon consent, with a valid prescription, and in compliance with labeling and dispensing requirements. (HB2526 HD1)

RELATING TO ENERGY EFFICIENCY.

Requires the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism to convene a working group to develop standards for reporting energy consumption to facilitate comparisons of energy consumption and costs by consumers and homebuyers. (HB1249 HD3)

RELATING TO ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION.

Requires the Department of Accounting and General Services to maintain a database of the costs to state departments and agencies of cleaning up and disposing of polystyrene products in each county that has not enacted an ordinance significantly restricting the use of polystyrene products. Beginning in 2020, requires each county that has not enacted an ordinance significantly restricting the use of polystyrene products to reimburse the general fund for costs to the State of cleaning up and disposing of polystyrene products in the county. RELATING TO FOOD SAFETY.

Appropriates funds to DBEDT in each of fiscal years 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 to provide guidance and support regarding the FDA's industry guidance on the use of color additives, as applied to sea salt products cultivated or produced in Hawaii. Effective 7/1/2038. (SD1)

RELATING TO CEMETERIES.

Limits liability for persons maintaining or repairing cemetery grounds. Requires the director of commerce and consumer affairs, in consultation with the comptroller, to develop strategies for repair and maintenance of Sunset Memorial Park in Pearl City, Oahu. Requires report to Legislature. Takes effect 1/7/2059. (SD2)
