RELATING TO ASSISTED REPRODUCTION.

Maddy summarySB 1151 establishes a simplified legal process for determining parentage in cases involving assisted reproduction, such as in vitro fertilization (IVF) or surrogacy. It directly affects intended parents, donors, and surrogates by creating a standardized procedure to clarify legal parentage without requiring separate court actions. The bill aims to reduce delays and legal complexity by allowing parentage to be confirmed through a streamlined administrative or court filing, rather than a full litigation process.
