RELATING TO BURIAL SITES.

Establishes an inter-division program between the State Historic Preservation Division, Land Division, Office of Conservation and Coastal Lands, Island Burial Councils, and the Office of Hawaiian Affairs that addresses the location, movement, and restoration of Hawaiian burial sites or ‘iwi, exposed or likely to be exposed to coastal erosion. RELATING TO TELEHEALTH.

Temporarily allows for the reimbursement of services provided through telehealth via an interactive telecommunications system and two-way, real-time audio-only communications in certain circumstances. Defines "interactive telecommunications system". Effective 12/31/2050. Repeals 12/31/2025. (SD2)

RELATING TO THE EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM.

Provides police officers who become members of the Employees' Retirement System after 6/30/2023 with retirement benefits similar to those provided for members of the Employees' Retirement System who became members before 7/1/2012, including but not limited to calculation of retirement allowance, minimum age or years of credited service requirements, and vesting period. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD2)

RELATING TO EMERGENCY POWERS.

Prohibits the Governor or a Mayor from suspending requests for public records or vital statistics during a declared state of emergency. Allows for a reasonable delay in an agency's response to a request as a result of extenuating circumstances.

RELATING TO GOVERNMENT.

Specifies that a public servant convicted of the offense of bribery shall be sentenced to pay a fine of up to $250,000, in addition to a sentence of imprisonment or probation. Requires the Commission on Salaries to consider certain factors to retain qualified individuals and deter corruption and bribery. Amends the effective dates of recommended salary increases. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD2)
