RELATING TO HEALTH.

Establishes a task force to review policy issues and opportunities relating to the navigation, access, and coverage of medicaid services by individuals with autism or fetal alcohol spectrum disorder and make a recommendation on whether a waiver or other approval from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is necessary to ensure accessibility of certain services for individuals with autism or fetal alcohol spectrum disorder. RELATING TO THE LICENSURE OF MIDWIVES.

RELATING TO TRANSPORTATION.

Clarifies that owners of chassis used for transporting shipping containers are exempt from the requirement to keep a certificate of registration within the chassis. Authorizes these businesses to keep the original certificate of registration, motor vehicle identification card, certificate of insurance, and certificate of inspection at their principal place of business within the State and specifies that it is not a requirement to keep the original or copy of these documents on the chassis. RELATING TO AGRICULTURE EDUCATION.

Establishes and appropriates funds for 1 FTE P-20 agriculture education coordinator position within the University of Hawaii at Manoa College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources. Specifies duties of the coordinator and P-20 agriculture education working group. (SB762 HD1)

RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLES.

Requires an application for motor vehicle registration to include additional identifying information. Requires the counties to fine the legal or registered owner of an abandoned or derelict vehicle. Requires the legal or registered owner to have up-to-date motor vehicle registration and motor vehicle insurance prior to repossession of the abandoned vehicle. (SB1297 HD1)

RELATING TO LAY NETS.

Prohibits the abandonment of lay nets used for fishing. Authorizes DLNR to issue permits for the use and possession of lay nets. Requires DLNR to establish a comprehensive, statewide lay net education and enforcement program. (SB1371 HD1)
