Limits initial prescriptions for opioids and benzodiazepines to a maximum of seven consecutive days.
Streamlines the reporting requirements of the Department of Human Services (DHS)and the family courts to require DHS, upon direction of the court, to provide the family court with an oral or written report regarding the safety of a minor child of the parties on or prior to the next regularly scheduled court hearing. Provides that if DHS provides a written report, the DHS need not appear at the hearing unless ordered to do so. Requires the court to provide copies of all written reports to the parties. (HB669 HD1)
Appropriates funds to the Department of Human Services for Med-QUEST coverage of adult dental services.
Requires insurers that contract with the Department of Human Services, to provide a medically complex add-on payment of 40 percent of the Medicaid base rate for medical enrollees in long-term care facilities with complex medical, behavioral, mental health, and cognitive needs who are waitlisted at an acute care hospital. Requires all limited service pregnancy centers to accurately disclose availability and enrollment information for reproductive health services. Establishes privacy and disclosure requirements for individual records and information. Authorizes civil penalties and civil actions for enforcement and remedy. (HB663 HD1)
Makes modifications to the Industrial Hemp Pilot Program by permitting submission of a license application at any time during the year in which the applicant plans to grow industrial hemp, amending physical facility requirements, and repealing the requirement for a movement permit to transport plants or plant material. Establishes a Civil Rights Board to address the civil rights of homeless. Authorizes the board to: (1) request a law enforcement officer to initiate proceedings for an individual's emergency examination and hospitalization; and (2) if the law enforcement officer declines to do so, order the officer to address any complaint by taking action that would help to ameliorate the situation.
Specifies that in disputes between a condominium unit owner and a condominium association or its board of directors involving activities occurring within the unit owner's unit, bylaws shall be construed in favor of the unit owner.
