RELATING TO CAMPAIGN FINANCE.

Prohibits corporations from making election contributions, expenditures, or independent expenditures except in accordance with the majority vote of the corporation's shareholders. Requires corporations to provide notices to shareholders and on their publicly accessible websites within forty-eight hours of making a contribution, expenditure, or independent expenditure.

RELATING TO REAL ESTATE.

Requires principal brokers to ensure associated real estate licensees are responsive to association-related requests from owners and Real Estate Commission-generated information is distributed to an association, board, or unit owner within ten days after receiving a request for information. RELATING TO FIRE SPRINKLERS.

RELATING TO HOMELESSNESS.

Requires the Hawaii Interagency Council on Homelessness, in conjunction with and with the advisement of the Department of Human Services and Department of Land and Natural Resources, to establish a working group to examine and develop recommendations related to the establishment of safe zones for persons experiencing homelessness. Requires the working group to submit a report to the Legislature. Appropriates funds. (HB83 CD1)

RELATING TO COFFEE BERRY BORER BEETLE.

Extends the sunset date for the Coffee Berry Borer Pesticide Subsidy Program until June 30, 2021, for the purchase of pesticides containing Beauveria bassiana to combat the coffee berry borer. Provides that no single coffee grower shall receive more than $6,000 per year in subsidies between June 30, 2018, and July 1, 2021. (HB186 CD1)
