Requires eligible schools to participate in the federal Community Eligibility Provision, which provides federal funds to help schools offer free meals to all students. Appropriates moneys for any difference between federal funds amounts and costs of providing free meals. Declares that the general fund expenditure ceiling will be exceeded.
Beginning 1/1/2025, requires health insurers, mutual benefit societies, health maintenance organizations, and health plans under the State's Medicaid managed care program to provide coverage for biomarker testing. Effective 7/1/3000. (HD1)
Beginning on 1/1/2024, permits manufacturers of investigational drugs or biological products to make these drugs and products available to terminally ill patients under certain conditions. Effective 7/1/3000. (HD1)
No later than January 1, 2025, requires the Department of Accounting and General Services to install and maintain automated external defibrillators in certain state buildings. Requires the Department of Accounting and General Services to provide trainings on the use of automated external defibrillators for certain state employees and security staff. Appropriates funds. Requires the Department of Accounting and General Services to provide menstrual products at no cost in specified restrooms in public buildings maintained by the department. Requires the Department of Accounting and General Services to post signage in each restroom identifying the location of the free menstrual products. Appropriates funds. Effective 7/1/3000. (HD1)
Establishes the Red Hill remediation authority. Creates the Red Hill remediation special fund.
Caps the primary and secondary ticket seller service charges that may be added on to event ticket prices. Requires website operators to guarantee refunds in certain circumstances and disclose that the website is not the primary ticket seller. Prohibits speculative tickets and the usage of bots.
Requires the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations to establish a three-year child care pilot grant program to provide grants to employers to assist in offering child care or caregiving support for their employees.
