RELATING TO AGRICULTURE.

RELATING TO CARE HOMES.

Beginning on 7/1/2023, requires that the state supplemental payment for type 1 adult residential care homes, licensed developmental disabilities domiciliary homes, community care foster family homes, and certified adult foster homes not exceed $767. RELATING TO MEAT PROCESSING.

Requires the Department of Agriculture, in collaboration with other state agencies, to develop and implement a plan by 7/1/2025 to expand the meat processing capacity in the State to allow for meat from axis deer and other wild game to be processed for distribution by nonprofit food distribution services. RELATING TO TOURISM.

Establishes an Office of Tourism and Destination Management within the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism that encompasses regenerative tourism and best practice destination management. Transfers the functions, duties, appropriations, and positions of the Hawaii Tourism Authority to the Office of Tourism and Destination Management. Requires the Office of Tourism and Destination Management to implement certain county destination management action plans.
