RELATING TO COUNTY LABOR STANDARDS.

Authorizes the counties to require contractors to disclose information regarding its employees' wages, benefits, hours, and employment status and deny, revoke, or suspend a building permit application for violating laws relating to wages, benefits, hours, and employment status, under certain conditions. RELATING TO WILDFIRES.

Establishes the Hawaiʻi Wildfire Relief Fund and Hawaiʻi Wildfire Relief Fund Corporation to provide compensation for property damage resulting from catastrophic wildfires in the State. Requires the Corporation's board to report to the Legislature. Makes an appropriation. Effective 7/1/3000. (HD2)

RELATING TO THE GENERATION OF WILDFIRE SUSCEPTIBILITY MAPS FOR HAWAII.

Requires the University of Hawaiʻi to establish and implement a two-year program to develop web-GIS wildfire susceptibility and vulnerability maps for the State to determine which communities, landscapes, buildings, and infrastructure are most vulnerable to future wildfires. Requires the Department of Agriculture to assess the steps necessary for the State to supplement federal authority to perform meat inspections within the State. Requires the Department of Agriculture to assess the steps necessary to transfer full authority over meat inspections from the federal government to the State. RELATING TO THE PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION.

RELATING TO ALCOHOL.

Expands the definition of "beer" under the intoxicating liquor law to mean any alcoholic beverage containing not less than 0.5% alcohol by volume obtained by fermentation of any infusion or decoction of malt or any substitute, including alcohol seltzer beverages and excluding sake, cooler beverages, and other distilled products. Authorizes brewpubs to sell beer they manufacture, or beer manufactured on their premises, subject to certain conditions. Takes effect 1/1/2025. (SD1)
