RELATING TO CHILD CARE FACILITIES.

Requires the Department of Human Services to post its inspection records of child care facilities that involve substantiated complaints on a public website and submit an annual report to the legislature of certain information from inspection records related to child care facilities. (SB748 HD1)

RELATING TO SERVICE AREA BOARDS.

Amends statutory provisions relating to quorum and voting requirements for service area boards on mental health and substance abuse. Designates service area boards on mental health and substance abuse within the department of health for administrative purposes.

RELATING TO LONG-TERM CARE FACILITIES.

Providing an annual inflationary adjustment in the methodology used to reimburse facilities for the long-term care of Medicaid recipients beginning with fiscal year 2017-2018. Appropriates funds to provide an inflationary adjustment to long-term care facilities' provider-specific prospective payment rates. (SB308 HD1)

RELATING TO LABOR.

RELATING TO HOUSING.

Requires the strategic plan developed by the Hawaii Interagency Council for Transit-oriented Development to require that every development or redevelopment plan for any state property within one-half mile of the Honolulu rail transit system evaluate the suitability for affordable housing based on certain specifications, unless the council determines that housing is not feasible or desirable on a particular property. Allows a developer to build fewer housing units than required at one state parcel if the developer builds additional housing at another state parcel within one-half mile of a rail station to offset the reduction. RELATING TO STATE COUNCIL ON MENTAL HEALTH.

RELATING TO NATUROPATHIC MEDICINE.

Authorizes a naturopathic physician to prescribe testosterone consistent with naturopathic medical practice. Clarifies that narcotic drugs shall not be included within the naturopathic formulary. (SB223 HD1)
