Prescribes the scope of practice of associate physicians. Creates requirements for collaborative practice agreements between associate physicians and collaborating physicians. Authorizes associate physicians to prescribe certain controlled substances.
Prohibits the sale or furnishing of a tobacco product or electronic smoking device to a person born on or after January 1, 2003. Prohibits the possession or consumption of a tobacco product in a public place by a person born on or after January 1, 2003, with certain exemptions. Prohibits the purchase or possession of any tobacco product or electronic smoking device by a person born on or after January 1, 2003, with certain exemptions. Effective 1/1/2024.
