Requires the Department of Human Services' Med-QUEST division to automatically transmit applicants' voter registration information to the Office of Elections and clerk of the county of the applicant's residence, subject to certain conditions. Authorizes the Office of Elections to designate state agencies for automatic voter registration if the agency collects, processes, or stores certain information. Updates methods for automatic voter registration conducted by the Examiner of Drivers. Makes conforming amendments. Effective 1/30/2026.

Clarifies that the definition of "dwelling", as it relates to offenses against property rights, includes multi-unit buildings and connected parking or storage areas that are restricted to residents. Allows the owner of a multi-unit building, an owner of an individual unit, a property manager, or an authorized representative of the condominium association to act as a complainant for the purpose of investigating and prosecuting an offense of burglary in the first degree in a multi-unit building. Allows a court to appoint an attorney for the subject of a petition for assisted community treatment if the interests of justice require one be appointed. Repeals language that entitles the subject of a petition for assisted community treatment to legal representation by a public defender. (CD1)
Prohibits a person from selling ammunition to a person under the age of twenty-one. Prohibits a person under the age of twenty-one from owning, possessing, or controlling ammunition, with exceptions. (CD1)
Establishes the offense of habitual violent crime. Requires the Department of the Attorney General to submit a report to the Legislature before the Regular Sessions of 2025 and 2026. Requires the prosecuting attorney of each county to submit data to the Department of the Attorney General for the purposes of the reports. Repeals 6/30/2027. (CD1)
