RELATING TO DRIVER'S LICENSES.

RELATING TO GARDENS.

Authorizes the department of education to develop programs to encourage the development of gardens on school property. RELATING TO EQUITABLE DISTRIBUTION OF GROW OUR OWN RESOURCES FOR HAWAIIAN IMMERSION TEACHERS.

Establishes a stipend program to be administered by DOE for students enrolled in a teacher education program at UH and who agree to teach in the public school system for five years. Establishes a similar stipend program to be administered by the state public charter school commission for students enrolled in a teacher education program at UH and who agree to teach in a public charter school for five years. Gives preference to teachers who choose to teach in a Hawaiian immersion school. Appropriates funds. Effective 7/1/2050. (HD1)

RELATING TO LAND.

Specifies that agricultural multi-use lands under the management of DLNR are not subject to transfer to and management by HDOA. Requires BLNR to revise its land classifications to include agricultural multi-use lands. Establishes and appropriates funds for an agricultural multi-use lands specialist position.
