Establishes a five-year pilot program in the department of health to expand existing county programs that make one or more mental health professionals available to assist county first responders in responding to mental health crises in areas in the urban core with high rates of homelessness. Authorizes the department of education to stock bronchodilators for emergency use during respiratory distress and authorize department employees to volunteer to administer bronchodilators. Effective 6/30/3000. (HD2)
Requires state participation in the multistate Nurse Licensure Compact, which will allow a nurse who is licensed by a home state to practice under a multistate licensure privilege in each party state.
Requires the Department of Health to post on its website separate reports for various visits, violations, plans, and confirmations the Department performs or issues of certain care facilities. Establishes deadlines for each report type. Requires the Department of Health to log all reports in a database designed for easy public posting. Requires all facilities inspected by the Department of Health to maintain certain records and notify the Executive Office on Aging, Office of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman, and appropriate county offices on aging of initial inspection visit dates.
Prohibits the sale of flavored tobacco products and the mislabeling of e-liquids as nicotine free. Authorizes the department of health to appoint, commission, or contract for services of inspectors. Establishes two full-time equivalent program specialist positions and one full-time equivalent hearing officer position. Appropriates funds. Effective 6/30/3000. (HD1)
