Requires a retailer of certain batteries to implement a program in which the retailer accepts used batteries for reuse, recycling, or other means of disposal. Requires the Department of Health to expand its recycling operations to accommodate the recycling of batteries. Appropriates moneys.
Prohibits the parking of vehicles in front of a mailbox facing a state highway to which the United States Postal Service delivers mail from Monday through Saturday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. in any county with a population of 500,000 or more.
Authorizes the Department of Education to develop and coordinate mental health training to be offered annually to complex area superintendents, registered school nurses, and school health aides. Includes autism and fetal alcohol spectrum disorder training. (HB379 HD1)
