Requires, in the case of any multiple-page advertisement, for the required disclosures to be made on the first page of the advertisement or on the cover page of the publication if the advertisement is used as the lead article and displayed on the cover page of a state- or county-wide distributed publication. Authorizes a prosecution for sex trafficking to be commenced at any time. Includes coercion as a means of committing the offense of sex trafficking. Makes the solicitation of a minor for sex a strict liability offense of sex trafficking. Repeals the offense of solicitation of a minor for prostitution.
Clarifies the group of professionals who are prohibited from knowingly referring or transferring patients to an uncertified or unlicensed care facility. Repeals the landlord exclusion. Requires the department of health to prioritize complaint allegations based on severity for inspections of state-licensed or state-certified care facilities. Effective 7/1/2060. (HD2)
Amends Act 151, SLH 2019, to make identifying lands for producing food crops that may be grown locally using conventional, sustainable, and regenerative practices to replace imports one of the goals of the Department of Agriculture's strategic plan for increased food production. Updates reporting requirements by the PSD when inmate and employee deaths occur at correctional facilities and community correctional centers. Requires the report to include the race of the decedent. Requires the report to cite to any authority relied upon by the PSD in determining that information is protected by state or federal law. Provides for disclosure of the report, subject to certain conditions. Effective 7/1/3050. (HD2)
Directs the auditor to perform a comprehensive performance and management audit of the state historic preservation division. Effective 1/1/2050. (HD1)
Repeals the task force on beach and water safety and risk assessment working group. Requires the design and placement of warning signs, devices, and systems on certain areas of the State to be approved by the chairperson of the board of land and natural resources and the respective county mayors.
