RELATING TO ELECTRONIC SMOKING DEVICES.

Includes electronic smoking devices and e-liquids under the definition of "tobacco products" for purposes of cigarette tax and tobacco tax law. Repeals the electronic smoking device retailer registration unit under the department of the attorney general. Effective 1/1/3000. (HD2)

RELATING TO SEXUAL ABUSE OF MINORS.

Expands the time period by which a civil action for childhood sexual abuse may be initiated, including an otherwise timebarred action. Authorizes a court to require personnel of legal entities to undergo training on traumainformed response. Effective 6/30/3000. (HD1)

RELATING TO THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION.

Requires the Department of Education to assess its facilities and provide the legislature with a list of priority facilities in each county at which the installation of renewable energy systems on school facilities would provide the most benefit, provide a list of priority play areas on school campuses in each county that are most in need of covered play areas to protect children from over-exposure to heat and ultraviolet rays, and assess and report on the feasibility of including renewable energy systems on play area covers on school campuses.
