Makes the community court outreach project permanent. Amends the project to address homeless defendants and expand the opportunities for eligible defendants to participate. Appropriates funds for additional personnel and enhanced security services. Effective 6/30/3000. (HD1)
Requires the mayor of each county to appoint, and the county council or city council to confirm, a county medical examiner. Provides that the medical examiner for each county shall serve as the county's coroner. Makes conforming amendments.
Beginning January 1, 2025, authorizes public schools and public charter schools to have an employee trained to administer or assist with the self-administration of seizure disorder rescue medication, with certain exemptions. Authorizes all principals, guidance counselors, and teachers to perform an annual self-review of seizure disorder materials. Allows a seizure action plan for every diagnosed student to be established and distributed to employees charged with supervising the student. Appropriates funds.
Recognizes American Sign Language as a fully developed, autonomous, natural language with its own grammar, syntax, vocabulary, and cultural heritage. (SD1)

Repeals the sunset dates of Act 156, SLH 2012, and Act 124, SLH 2014, to make the nursing facility sustainability program permanent and permanently exempt the nursing sustainability program special fund from the central service and administrative expenses assessments. Makes various amendments to the nursing facility sustainability program and nursing facility sustainability special fund. Repeals the nursing facility tax. Appropriates funds out of the nursing facility sustainability program special fund. (CD1)
