Exempts medical services from the general excise tax.
Amends the motion picture, digital media, and film production income tax credit by requiring the department of business, economic development, and tourism to publish on its website the names of the qualified productions and the amount of the tax credits certified per qualified production per filing year.
Exempts foods and medical services products from the general excise tax.
Establishes an entrepreneurship grant program within the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism to assist entrepreneurs with new businesses.
Establishes an income tax credit for employers who create on-site early childhood facilities. Establishes and appropriates funds for 1.0 FTE on-site early childhood facility coordinator position. Applies to taxable years beginning after 12/31/2023. Takes effect on 7/1/2024.
Prohibits the downloading or use of social media application TikTok on government-issued devices capable of internet connectivity, or on government internet networks.
Appropriates moneys to the State of Hawaiʻi Museum of Monarchy History (Iolani Palace) for operating and maintenance expenses.
Appropriates funds to increase medicaid payments to eligible health care providers in the State up to one hundred per cent of the current medicare rates. Effective 6/30/3000. (HD1)
