RELATING TO SOLAR ENERGY.

Requires special permit approval for solar energy facilities larger than fifteen kilowatts on one or more lots in non-conforming residential subdivisions, which have been identified by the county, located on land with soil classified with an overall productivity rating of class D or E. RELATING TO CONDOMINIUMS.

Establishes the automatic fire sprinkler system revolving fund to provide low interest loans for the installation of automatic fire sprinkler systems in condominiums or apartments; provided that no loans shall be authorized until January 1, 2019. (HB1822 HD1)

RELATING TO RAT LUNGWORM DISEASE.

RELATING TO MEDICAL CANNABIS.

Requires the counties to establish a medical cannabis collectives registration system for regulating and taxing the distribution of medical cannabis. Allows primary caregivers and qualifying patients to assert the medical use of cannabis as a defense rather than an affirmative defense under the medical use of cannabis law. Allows qualifying patients to transfer medical cannabis between themselves. Appropriates funds to the counties to establish and administer medical cannabis collectives. (HB2664 HD1)

Decreases the income tax by twenty-five per cent for all but the top income earners and sets the top tax rate to 8.25 percent.
