Requires the driver of a vehicle passing and overtaking a bicycle proceeding in the same direction to allow at least three feet of separation between the right side of the driver's vehicle and the left side of the bicyclist. (HB2215 CD1)

Creates the intellectual and developmental disabilities medicaid waiver administrative claiming special fund into which federal moneys may be deposited from Department of Health's participation in the waiver program under section 1915(c) of the Social Security Act. Establishes a working group to evaluate and examine the existing application process for the section 1915(c) waiver and other services by the developmental disabilities division of the Department of Health. Requires the working group to report to the Legislature prior to the convening of the regular session of 2019. Makes an appropriation. Effective 7/1/3000. (SD2)
Requires all individuals operating a bicycle to ride within a bicycle lane, if a bicycle lane is available for use, and provides for the assessment of fines for each violation. (HB1632 HD1)

Prohibits the sale of sunscreen or personal care products that contain oxybenzone or octinoxate in Hawaii, beginning 1/1/2023.
Provides that transient accommodations tax is imposed on gross proceeds collected from a customer whether the customer booked a room directly through a hotel or through an online travel company.
Appropriates funds for one ambulance unit each for the county of Kauai and the county of Hawaii, including equipment, supplies, and personnel costs.
Requires all use permits at the Ala Wai boat harbor to be obtained at public auction. Requires that public notice of the public auction for a use permit at the Ala Wai boat harbor be given and include certain information. Requires all public auctions for use permits at the Ala Wai boat harbor to be conducted by the chairperson of the board of land and natural resources or an authorized employee of the department of land and natural resources under the direction of the board of land and natural resources without additional compensation. Takes effect on 8/1/2018.
