Requires all places of public accommodation constructed after 12/31/23 to provide universal changing accommodations in public restrooms. Where feasible and cost effective, requires all bids for state building construction, projects submitted after 6/30/2024 to provide universal changing accommodations in public restrooms. Requires the Department of Education to transfer the Ewa Beach Public and School Library from the State Public Library System to James Campbell High School.
Establishes certain parental rights. Prohibits the State and counties from enacting any rules, regulations, or laws that infringe upon these parental rights.
Exempts foods and medical services products from the general excise tax.
Requires professional and vocational licensing boards to consider relevant military education, training, and service as part of the evaluation process toward the qualifications of a license. Requires the licensing administrator of the professional and vocational licensing division of the department of commerce and consumer affairs to communicate the intent of this Act to each licensing authority and report to the legislature.
