Requires the claimant to provide actual evidence of the nature and cause of the construction defect and extent of necessary repairs along with the notice of claim. Amends the process and time frame for a claimant to accept a contractor's proposal to inspect and authorize the contractor to proceed with repairs. Establishes the Automated Speed Enforcement Systems Program. Authorizes the state or counties to administer the Automated Speed Enforcement Systems Program. Requires fines collected beginning 1/1/2025 for violations on a county highway to be expended for the operation of the Automated Speed Enforcement Systems Program. Allows religious, educational, and medical institutions to build residential units on lands zoned for residential or commercial use within the urban state land use district, under certain conditions.
Requires the Department of Accounting and General Services to provide menstrual products at no cost in specified restrooms in public buildings maintained by the department. Requires the Department of Accounting and General Services to post signage in each restroom identifying the location of the free menstrual products. Appropriates funds. Effective 7/1/3000. (HD1)
Establishes the Red Hill remediation authority. Creates the Red Hill remediation special fund.
Caps the primary and secondary ticket seller service charges that may be added on to event ticket prices. Requires website operators to guarantee refunds in certain circumstances and disclose that the website is not the primary ticket seller. Prohibits speculative tickets and the usage of bots.
