RELATING TO ELECTRIC VEHICLES.

RELATING TO RIGHT OF ENTRY FOR PROFESSIONAL SURVEYORS.

Authorizes professional land surveyors and their assistants to enter private property to perform land surveying, subject to certain provisions. Shields land surveyors and their assistants from prosecution under criminal trespass laws when performing their duties. Effective 6/30/3000. (HD2)

RELATING TO LIABILITY.

Provides that the State or a county that repairs or maintains a street of which the ownership or jurisdiction is in dispute between the State and the county shall be immune from liability for personal injuries or property damage arising out of the repair or maintenance of that street. Deems that maintenance of a street shall not confer ownership or jurisdiction over such street if the ownership or jurisdiction over the street is in dispute between the State and the county. RELATING TO THE SALE OF ANIMALS.

Prohibits pet dealers and retail pet stores in the State from selling, offering to sell, leasing, offering to lease, bartering, auctioning, or otherwise transferring ownership of any dog, cat, or rabbit. Effective 1/1/2024.

RELATING TO FLOODING.

Appropriates moneys as grants-in-aid to the several counties for the mitigation of flood risks on privately-owned roads. Provides that the appropriation or expenditure of moneys pursuant to the Act shall not be construed to establish a duty of care or grounds for liability for the State or the several counties.
