Provides that an employee who earns an hourly wage shall be entitled to one-half hour of a paid break for every eight hours of labor performed within a warehouse.

Establishes a task force to identify the top ten fruits or vegetables that are imported into the State but may be commercially grown in the State. Creates an income tax credit to incentivize the production of those fruits or vegetables to obviate the need to import them into the State. Effective 6/30/3000. (SD1)
Prohibits the distribution, sale, and provision of plastic straws, except for those who request single-use plastic straws for medical reasons. Establishes a fine for violators. Takes effect 1/1/2024.
Increases the state earned income tax credit from twenty to twenty-five percent of the federal earned income tax credit.
Amends the Hawaiʻi Revised Statutes to replace the word "marijuana" and related terms with the term "cannabis" or related terms, as appropriate.
Reduces, then later exempts, the tax collected on the sale of groceries that are eligible under the supplemental nutrition assistance program or special supplemental nutrition program for women, infants, and children, regardless of the means of purchase and the program eligibility of the purchaser.
