RELATING TO DISCRIMINATION IN EDUCATION.

Prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex, including gender identity or expression, or sexual orientation, in any state educational program or activity, or in any educational program or activity that receives state financial assistance. (HB2139 HD1)

RELATING TO THE ENVIRONMENT.

RELATING TO BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS SERVICES.

Clarifies the scope of practice of behavior analysis. Clarifies who may provide behavior analysis and applied behavior analysis services regardless of licensure status, including licensed individuals working within an overlapping scope of practice, individuals supervised by a licensed professional of an overlapping scope of practice, and caregivers. RELATING TO THE HAWAII EMPLOYER-UNION HEALTH BENEFITS TRUST FUND.

Prohibits the Hawaii Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund (Fund) from withholding any retroactive reimbursement payable after June 30, 2013, to a retired employee-beneficiary and qualified employee-beneficiary's spouse for an income-adjusted Medicare Part B premium based on the time in which the adjustment request is made to the Fund. Establishes notice requirements. (HB2466 HD1)

RELATING TO EQUAL PAY.

Prohibits prospective employers from requesting or considering a job applicant's wage or salary history as part of an employment application process or compensation offer. Prohibits enforced wage secrecy and retaliation or discrimination against employees who disclose, discuss, or inquire about their own or coworkers' wages. (HB2137 HD1)
