RELATING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII PROMISE PROGRAM.

Establishes the University of Hawaii Promise Program to provide scholarships for the unmet direct cost needs of qualified students enrolled at any campus of the University of Hawaii system or any community college campus. Appropriates funds to establish and implement the program. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD1)

RELATING TO TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT.

RELATING TO CEMETERIES.

Limits liability for persons maintaining or repairing cemetery grounds. Requires the director of commerce and consumer affairs, in consultation with the comptroller, to develop strategies for repair and maintenance of Sunset Memorial Park in Pearl City, Oahu. RELATING TO EDUCATION.

Creates and appropriates funds for Erin's Law Task Force to review policies, programs, and curricula for educating public school students about sexual abuse and sex trafficking prevention, and report recommendations for the establishment of a program to educate public school children on sexual abuse prevention through age appropriate curricula. RELATING TO CONDOMINIUMS.

Prohibits associations of apartment owners, boards of directors, managing agents, resident managers, condominium owners, and persons acting on behalf of associations or condominium owners from retaliating or discriminating against a condominium owner, board member, managing agent, resident manager, or association employee who files a complaint; acts in furtherance of a complaint, report, or investigation of an alleged violation of the State's condominium laws or a condominium's governing documents; or exercises or attempts to exercise any right as a condominium owner.
