RELATING TO BREAST CANCER SCREENING.

Increases the categories of women required to be covered for mammogram screenings. Requires the existing health insurance mandate for coverage of low-dose mammography to include digital mammography and digital breast tomosynthesis. Defines "digital breast tomosynthesis". Effective 6/30/3000. (HD1)

RELATING TO THE STATE ARCHIVES.

Expands the uses for the state archives preservation and long-term access special fund from the preservation of and long-term access to government records only, to include photographic, phonographic, and audio-video records and collections that have a unique historical value or are related to Hawaii's diverse ethnic and indigenous cultures. Establishes additional funding sources for, and authorizes additional expenditures of moneys from, the state archives preservation and long-term access special fund. Appropriates moneys. RELATING TO THE HAWAII SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF AND BLIND.

Requires the Department of Education to meet with Hawaii School for the Deaf and Blind stakeholders and members of the Hawaii deaf community regarding the development of a plan to transition the Hawaii School for the Deaf and Blind to a conversion charter school. Requires a report to the Legislature.

RELATING TO CHARTER SCHOOLS.

Provides funding for rental or lease of facilities under legislative appropriations and bond authorizations to the state public charter school commission for the design, planning, construction, repair, and maintenance of public charter school improvements. Appropriates general funds for infrastructure costs, rental or lease assistance, and the repair and maintenance of network infrastructure for charter schools. Effective 6/30/3000. (HD1)

RELATING TO HIGHWAYS.
