RELATING TO OCCUPATIONAL LICENSING REFORM TASK FORCE.

A bill establishing a task force to examine the state policy for the regulation and licensing of occupations. Preliminary report to the 2024 legislature, final report and proposed legislation to the 2025 legislature.

RELATING TO EDUCATION.

Requires the department of education to fully implement the farm to school program and farm to school meals program by the 20242025 school year. Provides that complex area superintendents have the authority to implement the farm to school and farm to school meals programs. Requires certain school cafeteria supervisors to report directly to complex area superintendents. Establishes school cafeteria supervisor positions. Requires the office of talent management of the department of education to conduct a compensation review of school cafeteria supervisor positions. Appropriates funds. Effective 7/1/3000. (HD2)

RELATING TO TRANSIT-ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT.

Authorizes the issuance of general obligation bonds for statewide planning and coordination for transit-oriented development projects identified in the state strategic plan for transit-oriented development. Effective 7/1/3000. (HD1)

RELATING TO GASOLINE PRICE GOUGING.

Makes the sale of gasoline for an unconscionably excessive price during periods of abnormal disruption of the market an unfair trade practice. Increases penalties for violations of the law regulating unfair trade practices by the petroleum industry. Authorizes the courts to order all or a portion of any civil penalty imposed to be deposited into the energy security special fund.

RELATING TO MEDIA LITERACY.

Authorizes school complexes to incorporate media literacy in its standards-based curriculum, including content that prevents negative impacts of misinformation, disinformation, digital discrimination, and online hate speech.
