Directs the Department of Health, in collaboration with the Judiciary, to create and maintain a directory of reintegration programs and services for incarcerated or formerly incarcerated individuals with an emphasis on culturally based programs and services for Native Hawaiians.
Requires parking placards for disabled persons to bear the disabled person's photograph and prominently display its expiration date. Establishes a penalty for using a placard after the death of the person to whom the placard was issued.
Appropriates funds to the Department of Human Services for the coordinated statewide homeless initiative, subject to certain conditions. Takes effect 7/1/2030. (SD1)
Authorizes any continuum of care to offer a stipend to volunteers assisting in the point-in-time count conducted annually to determine the number of homeless individuals in the State, as a condition of receiving federal homeless assistance from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. Requires health care facilities to first request transport services from an air ambulance that is contracted with the patient's health carrier when transferring a patient to another health care facility via air ambulance. Requires notification if a non-contracted air ambulance service is utilized. Establishes a procedure for dispute resolutions.
