Allows state departments to participate in temporary employee interchanges with private sector organizations, including nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Establishes the accessory dwelling unit grant program under the Hawaiʻi Housing Finance and Development Corporation to provide grants to eligible homeowners for development costs and certain closing costs associated with the construction of an accessory dwelling unit. Establishes and appropriates funds into and out of the accessory dwelling unit grant revolving fund.
Requires the transfer of the Maui State Veterans Home to the Oahu Regional Health Care System and then to the Department of Health, as part of the Oahu Regional Health Care System transfer pursuant to Act 212, Session Laws of Hawaiʻi 2021.
