RELATING TO PAID SICK LEAVE.

Requires employers to provide a minimum amount of paid sick leave to employees and supplemental paid sick leave to employees under certain public health emergency conditions. Effective 6/30/3000. (HD1)

RELATING TO FIRE PREVENTION.

Appropriates funds to the Department of Land and Natural Resources for the Community Fuels Reduction Project. Beginning with fiscal year 2025-2026, and each fiscal year thereafter, requires the Department of Land and Natural Resources to establish the Community Fuels Reduction Project as a separate line item within the Department's budget. RELATING TO ORGANIC WASTE DIVERSION.

Updates the State's integrated solid waste management goals and priorities to include organic waste diversion. Requires the counties to incorporate organic waste diversion into their respective integrated solid waste management plan. Effective 6/30/3000. (HD1)

RELATING TO GREEN TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURE.

Establishes green infrastructure objectives and policies for transportation systems, infrastructure, and projects. Establishes the green transportation infrastructure task force to examine, evaluate, and develop policies for the design, implementation, and maintenance of green transportation infrastructure. RELATING TO CLEAN ENERGY.

Requires the clean energy initiative program to design, implement, and administer a plan to increase jobs aligned with the State's transition to a clean energy economy and strategies for evaluating and supporting a transition to a clean energy economy that advances social equity. Authorizes the use of the energy security special fund to create jobs that advance the State's goals of achieving greater energy security and adapting to climate change, expand workforce development and training programs for workers transitioning to a clean energy economy, and strengthen social equity in the adoption of clean energy technology. RELATING TO HEALTH.

Establishes a joint task force to review policy issues and opportunities relating to the navigation, access, and coverage of medicaid services by individuals with autism or fetal alcohol spectrum disorder and make a recommendation on whether a waiver or other approval from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is necessary to ensure accessibility of certain services for individuals with autism or fetal alcohol spectrum disorder.
