A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Part 1 of Article 1 of Chapter 8 of Title 48 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions relative to state sales and use taxes, so as to repeal the data center equipment sales and use tax exemption; to allow for the continued use of certificates of exemption issued prior to the date of repeal; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 25 of Title 33 of the O.C.G.A., relating to life insurance, so as to provide for certain protections for life insurance policyholders and beneficiaries; to provide for an owner of a life insurance policy or annuity to be represented by a local agent when such policy or annuity is sold; to provide for such owner to be represented by a local agent when such agent does not have a contract with such insurer; to provide such owner with an annual notice report on such policy or annuity; to require an insurer to conduct a quarterly search of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners' policy locator; to provide for annual reporting; to provide for rules and regulations; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend an Act providing that no local board of education, local school superintendent, or school administrator, teacher, or other school personnel shall make or enforce any rule that requires a student to wear a face mask or face covering while present on school property unless such rule provides that a parent or guardian of such student may elect for his or her child to be exempt from such rule, approved March 29, 2022 (Ga. L. 2022, p. 23/SB 514), so as to eliminate the automatic repeal provision; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
