A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Part 1 of Article 1 of Chapter 18 of Title 45 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the state employees' health insurance plan, so as to define a certain term; to provide that no health insurance plan for employees of the state shall offer coverage for abortion services; to repeal conflicting laws, and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Part 1 of Article 4 of Chapter 11 of Title 16 of the O.C.G.A., relating to general provisions regarding dangerous instrumentalities and practices, so as to provide that no officer or employee of the state or any political subdivision of the state, no persons performing governmental functions, and no firearms dealer shall enforce or attempt to enforce any federal law or regulation relating to a personal firearm, a firearm accessory, or ammunition that is owned or manufactured commercially or privately in this state and that remains exclusively within the borders of this state; to provide for related matters; to provide an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A RESOLUTION recognizing and commending Dr. James E. "Jim" Strickland on receiving the Georgia Farm Bureau's Distinguished Service Award; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 1 of Title 50 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions regarding state government, so as to provide for legislative findings; to provide that no department or agency shall implement any provision of federal health care reform legislation unless the department or agency provides a certain report to the General Assembly and the General Assembly authorizes such implementation by statute; to provide for related matters; to provide an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
