Auto Insurance Verification Data Base; establish; procedures; definitions; disclosure of information

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 6 of Chapter 2 of Title 40 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to administration and enforcement of chapter regarding registration and licensing of motor vehicles, so as to provide definitions; to establish an Auto Insurance Verification Data Base; to provide for the procedures for the operation and maintenance of such data base; to provide for the disclosure of information in such data base to certain entities and limitations on the use and release of such information; to notify owners of motor vehicles of their failure to provide proof of financial responsibility; to provide for penalties for violations; to correct citations; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
