A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 2 of Title 20 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to elementary and secondary education, so as to provide for the qualification and selection of students to advise the State Board of Education and local boards of education; to provide for the Georgia Teacher of the Year to be invited to advise the State Board of Education; to provide for a definition; to provide for compensation; to provide for restrictions; to provide for rules and regulations; to provide for construction; to provide for a short title; to provide for an effective date; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 6 of Title 16 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to sexual offenses, so as to prohibit the prosecution of the offense of sodomy regarding consenting adults in accordance with Powell v. The State, 270 Ga. 327 (1998); to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 16 of Chapter 2 and Article 11 of Chapter 11 of Title 14 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to records and reports relative to business corporations and miscellaneous provisions relative to limited liability companies, respectively, so as to require corporations and limited liability companies and their subsidiaries to provide certain information to the Secretary of State if they own a certain number of multifamily residences; to require the Secretary of State to publish such information on the Georgia Corporations Division website; to provide for definitions; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date and applicability; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A RESOLUTION urging state-wide support for passage of the "Georgia PAD Screening and Amputation Prevention Act," to establish state agency programs and healthcare coverage requirements to prevent or reduce amputations due to peripheral artery disease; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Title 35 of the O.C.G.A., relating to law enforcement officers and agencies, so as to repeal provisions relating to local law enforcement involvement with immigration and cooperation with federal authorities; to amend Title 17 of the O.C.G.A., relating to criminal procedure, so as to repeal provisions relating to the verification of immigration status; to amend Title 36 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to local government, so as to repeal provisions relating to immigration sanctuary policies; to amend Title 42 of the O.C.G.A., relating to penal institutions, so as to repeal provisions relating to reports regarding foreign-born inmates in custody, compliance with immigration detainer notices, and reporting requirements; to amend Title 45 of the O.C.G.A., relating to public officers and employees; to amend Title 50 of the O.C.G.A., relating to state government, so as to make confirming changes; laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 1 of Title 51 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions regarding torts, so as to limit criminal penalties and civil damages of donors and gleaners that donate food and organizations that accept food; to provide for construction; to provide for definitions; to provide for a short title; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date and applicability; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 35-1-17 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to state and local law enforcement actions relating to immigration laws, authority, immunity, and penalty, so as to provide for the protection of student data from immigration officials under certain circumstances; to mandate the designation of a school administrator in each school district to be responsible for and adequately prepared for interactions with immigration enforcement personnel; to restrict the access to student records, with the exception of medical emergencies, unless a valid judicial warrant, order, or parental consent has been provided; to provide for legislative intent; to provide a definition; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Part 3 of Article 7 of Chapter 3 of Title 20 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the Georgia Student Finance Authority, so as to establish a financial aid program to provide grants to eligible students to assist with off-campus housing expenses; to provide definitions; to provide for a maximum award amount; to provide for applications; to provide for rules, regulations, and procedures; to provide for a short title; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Title 14 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to corporations, partnerships, and associations, so as to restrict the powers of business corporations, nonprofit corporations, partnerships, limited partnerships, and limited liability companies to only the powers the General Assembly expressly grants; to prohibit business corporations, nonprofit corporations, partnerships, limited partnerships, and limited liability companies from engaging in ballot issue activity and election activity; to provide for civil enforcement and enforcement by the Attorney General; to provide for equitable remedies; to provide for definitions; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date and applicability; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 80 of Title 36 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions of local government, so as to prohibit the construction or development of new data centers for a specified time; to provide for legislative intent; to provide for an exception; to provide for a definition; to provide for an effective date; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
