A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend an Act providing for the numbering of positions of membership on the Cherokee County Board of Education, approved April 17, 1973 (Ga. L. 1973, p. 3207), as amended, particularly by an Act approved March 29, 2012 (Ga. L. 2012, p. 4590), so as to revise the districts for the election of members of the board of education; to provide for definitions and inclusions; to provide for manner of election; to provide for related matters; to provide for effective dates; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend an Act creating a board of commissioners of Cherokee County, approved March 30, 1989 (Ga. L. 1989, p. 4295), as amended, particularly by an Act approved March 5, 2012 (Ga. L. 2012, p. 4044), so as to revise the districts for the election of members of the board of commissioners; to provide for definitions and inclusions; to provide for manner of election; to provide for related matters; to provide effective dates; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 32 of Title 33 of the O.C.G.A., relating to property insurance, so as to require an appraisal provision in residential and commercial fire and extended coverage insurance policies; to provide guidelines for appraisal of amount of loss, including scope of loss; to define damaged property and depreciation and provide guidelines for calculating depreciation where a property is damaged but not wholly destroyed; to prohibit an insurer from requiring the use of a preferred vendor or contractor; to allow an insurer to recommend the use of a preferred vendor or contractor; to provide for the adjustment and settlement of first-party losses based on replacement cost value and on actual cash value; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date and applicability; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 1 of Title 50 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions of state government, so as to require state agencies to identify Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in data collected by such agencies; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A RESOLUTION honoring the life of Mr. Roger William Cavender and dedicating a road in his memory; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 12 of Title 31 of the O.C.G.A., relating to control of hazardous conditions, preventable diseases, and metabolic disorders, so as to prohibit state or local governments from requiring individuals to submit to vaccinations as a condition to certain actions; to prohibit state or local governments from issuing immunization passports or the like for the purpose of certifying the immunization status of an individual; to prohibit state or local governments from requiring face masks or other facial coverings to minimize the spread of contagious or infectious diseases; to prohibit certain entities or individuals doing business in this state from requiring patrons or customers to provide any documentation certifying vaccination or to wear a mask or other facial covering in order to gain entry to a business or to receive goods or services; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A RESOLUTION recognizing and commending Mayor Donnie Henriques; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 40-2-86 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to special license plates promoting or supporting certain worthy agencies, funds, or nonprofit corporations with proceeds disbursed to the general fund and the agency, fund, or nonprofit corporation, so as to amend the logo design for special license plates issued to support breast cancer related programs; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to provide that future elections for the office of probate judge of Cherokee County shall be nonpartisan elections; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A RESOLUTION honoring the life and memory of Don Stevens; and for other purposes.
