A BILL to be entitled an Act to provide a homestead exemption from City of Greensboro ad valorem taxes for municipal purposes in an amount equal to the amount by which the current year assessed value of a homestead exceeds the adjusted base year assessed value of such homestead; to provide for definitions; to specify the terms and conditions of the exemption and the procedures relating thereto; to provide for applicability; to provide for compliance with constitutional requirements; to provide for a referendum, effective dates, automatic repeal, mandatory execution of election, and judicial remedies regarding failure to comply; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 10 of Chapter 2 of Title 47 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the Georgia State Employees' Pension and Savings Plan, so as to increase the benefits payable for service after July 1, 2026; to provide for an increase to employee contributions; to provide for related matters; to provide conditions for an effective date and automatic repeal; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
